Some time ago, I stumbled across a NICE site called the Starlight Drive-In, which was made by Adora - a fellow Jem fan that probably doesn't know or care that I exist. Well, she DID yell at me on the Jem Universe RPG for having Stormer talk without her permission, but aside from that probably not.

Anyway, the point: She has, believe it or not JEM VIDEOS in RealVideo format... I know! No more winding though tapes to see your favorite song-vid! My only complaint was that the video quality varied widely, and in some cases the sound was sampled too loud - which causes 'squawking' on all but the BEST speakers - and sometimes even on THEM... But I digress...

Now, if nothing else, I know a good idea when I see it... Plus I spent all that money on that 32 MB 128-bit graphics card... And DSL.... And maxing out my pitiful 64MB of RAM on this old Sony VAIO 230 (now with 384 MB - woohoo!)

This sounds like an application for Return-On-Investment-Man!

Of course, since these (for the most part) were sampled from 15-year old tapes in EP, there are SOME quality issues... However, since I haven't been PLAYING them the whole 15 (since they were in storage until, like, winter of '99), they've not degraded all that much. In fact, most of them are DAMN sharp.

As a suggestion, right-click and then choose 'Save As', since they're in Single Stream at 512K and as such won't play all that straight on normal connections (You've been warned).
